Strings and string interpolation
This lesson covers basic string handling in Scala along with string interpolation.
Using the s"..." form (a string literal prefixed with s) lets you embed values directly with $variableName or ${expression}.
The sample code checks the character count with message.length, converts to upper case with message.toUpperCase, and assembles the results in an s-string.
A common early stumble is the difference between an ordinary string literal ("...") and an s-string (s"..."). Forget the leading s and the $name part is printed literally.
In professional work, string interpolation is used daily throughout Scala code for building log messages and error text.
